A curated home where feminine french meets mid century masculine.
Project: Complete renovation and interior design of entire main floor, including kitchen design, custom bar, new open stair concept, living room, dining room, great room, wine room, entrance and powder room and master bedroom.
Inspiration: A nod to rococo feminine french flair with Mid century 'mad men' inspirations.
The Client: A playful yet contrasting couple who stood at opposite ends of their design spectrum were led to meet in the middle to create a space that echoed both of their characters beautifully.
What We Love:
• The spectacular collection of artwork that was selected for the client and the foundation of their colour palette.
• The beautiful layers of texture and colour pull the artwork into the home in a cohesive way without feeling contrived.
• The eclectic mixture of ornate french details with mid century modern and the large gold french mirror.
• The custom built in wine room.
• The unorthodox furniture layout with the chairs and ottoman in the great room.
What We Did:
• Established full scope of work and project managed the renovation from concept to completion, including white glove delivery, art installation and stying of the entire space.
• Worked directly with the millwork company and the carpenter to design and oversee installation of all architectural elements including custom wine room library wall, kitchen and custom bar. Re-design of both fireplaces and sourcing of all new finishing materials.
• Comprehensive Interior Design Plan including architectural elements, electrical layout, lighting, paint, furniture, art, and accessories.
• Worked directly with client to curate a stunning art collection. Overall styling and accessorizing and decor.
