South Granville Heritage Apartment

 



A beautiful balance of masculine and feminine elements curated for an on the go female CEO.

 

Objective: To honour the heritage bones of the tired old apartment while brining a sense of old world luxury to the space.

The Space: 900 SQ FT apartment built in 1930 with all original finishes nestled in on a cozy St just off of South Granville.

Project: Kitchen renovation, Decorative upgrades such as custom paint schedule, complete furnishing of apartment including the interior design of the living room, master bedroom. Interior décor for all areas.

Inspiration: Traditional elements fused with contemporary Vancouver nuances. Neutral colour palette with soft drama, curated artwork and a blend of masculine and feminine elements.

 The Client:  A design savvy art collector, foodie and fashionista in her mid 30’s with a passion for excellence and an eye for detail.

 What We Love:

•   The striking black and white kitchen with overside subway tiles and black grout for contrast

•   Pops of cheetah print to bring a feminine sensuality to the space

•   The unorthodox but clever wine storage

•   Unexpected fusion of ornate and casual elements.

•   Curated art selections. 

 What We Did:

•   Established full scope of work and Project managed the kitchen renovation and upgrades

•   Worked directly with the trades to oversee the design and installation of all elements.

•  Comprehensive Interior Design plan including lighting selection, paint, furniture, art, and accessories.

•   Worked directly with seamstress to design, manufacture, and install window treatments.

•   Worked directly with client to curate art collection. Overall styling and accessorizing.
